Flyer for Give Them Hope, a screening of the film The Greatest Silence, by the Texas Tech University student organization Seva.
The Greatest Silence looks into the lives of women in the Democratic Republic of Congo who have faced the ongoing threat of sexual violence and rape. After the screening, guest speaker Jane Nagy, who has lived in Africa for over thirty years, will discuss these issues, and what you can do to help.
Even today, these atrocities continue, with little or no government intervention. Join us as we write letters of hope to women who have suffered in this crisis, and to our representatives to effect positive change in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
